How to Use SkinSpring After Professional Skin Treatments

How to Use SkinSpring After Professional Skin Treatments

The treatment may be over, but your skin's recovery has only just begun.

Whether you've had microneedling, a chemical peel, laser treatment or another professional procedure, your skin immediately enters a natural repair process.

During this time, your skin barrier is temporarily more vulnerable, which is why a simple, gentle aftercare routine is so important.

Dermatology guidance consistently recommends minimising irritation, protecting the skin from the sun and following the aftercare instructions provided by your treating practitioner.

SkinSpring is designed to complement this recovery period by supporting a clean, refreshed skin environment while your skin carries out its own natural healing processes.

Immediately After Your Treatment

If your practitioner has advised that SkinSpring is appropriate for your procedure:

  • Gently mist SkinSpring onto the treated area from approximately 15–20 cm away.
  • Allow it to air dry naturally.
  • Follow with any moisturiser or barrier-repair product recommended by your practitioner.
  • Avoid rubbing the skin or applying unnecessary products immediately afterwards.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is a molecule naturally produced by your body's immune cells as part of its normal defence response. Stabilised topical HOCl has been widely studied in wound care and dermatology because of its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it an increasingly popular addition to post-procedure skincare.

During the First 24–72 Hours

Recovery looks different for every treatment and every individual, so always follow your practitioner's instructions first.

As part of a gentle aftercare routine, SkinSpring can generally be used 2–3 times a day, or as directed by your skincare professional.

A simple routine may look like this:

Morning

  • Cleanse gently if advised.
  • Mist SkinSpring over the treated area.
  • Allow it to dry.
  • Apply your recommended moisturiser.
  • Finish with a broad-spectrum SPF if your practitioner has advised sunscreen at this stage and your skin is ready for it.

Throughout the day

  • Reapply SkinSpring whenever your skin feels warm, tight or in need of a refreshing mist.
  • Avoid touching or picking at the treated area.

Evening

  • Cleanse gently.
  • Mist SkinSpring onto clean skin.
  • Follow with your practitioner-recommended recovery moisturiser.

Less Is More

One of the biggest mistakes after professional treatments is introducing too many products too soon.

Freshly treated skin often benefits from a simplified routine while the skin barrier recovers. Unless advised otherwise by your practitioner, it's generally recommended to temporarily avoid potentially irritating active ingredients such as retinoids, exfoliating acids and benzoyl peroxide during the initial recovery period.

Think of recovery as giving your skin the space to do what it already knows how to do.

Every Treatment Is Different

Recovery after a superficial peel is not the same as recovery after an ablative laser procedure or deeper microneedling session.

Always follow the specific aftercare advice provided by your dermatologist, aesthetic doctor or skincare professional. If their instructions differ from general guidance, their recommendations should always take priority.

Respect the Recovery

Healthy skin isn't created the moment your treatment ends.

It's built in the hours and days that follow.

Support your skin with a gentle routine. Protect your skin barrier. Trust the recovery process.

Because the glow comes later.

First comes recovery.
